Quality: Well depending on how you look at tit depends on how you rate the quality of this drive. Yes their mechanics are great, Yes the software and extras are nice. But I can see more failures when writing to this burner compared to lets say a 99.00 Sony or an Iomega.. But considering that the price is great you would almost expect this..
Pros:
Price!!!! Installation. Tri Color face plate. Solid software.
Cons:
Could perform a bit more consistent. At this price availability might be a problem.. Conclusion: If you are looking for a cost effective DVD burning solution then this is a great buy. The performances and quality are satisfactory for the price but if you do allot of burning it might be wise to purchase a higher end burner like Sony. SO if you just burn a few things or back up your data every now and then this is a great purchase..
