Page 4 Quality & Conclusion
Quality: NVIDIA has had some hiccups when dealing with the 6000 series it seems as though the boards in the early stages had a few bad parts. In this situation I have yet to see any of the standard tell tail signs of the manufacturing problems. The design is solid and everything seems well made so I don't have allot to comment on concerning quality. This card has been running for over two months now in our editors PC other then benchmarking and she was well pleased to see the overall reliability with EverQuest and EverQuest 2. So I can definitely give this card a thumbs up for quality. I will let you know if anything changes over time but so far so good.
Pros:
Price Quality Stable Running Standard install
Cons:
Not a performance super star but price is a factor A little bulky not exactly pretty color scheme
Conclusion: If you need an all around good card and don't mind one a little bulky this product will work well. The performance is par with the price so don't expect miracles but the Apollo 6800 AGP does perform well. The main appeal is a 6800 chipset at a reasonable price and Apollo has made a quality solution for just this market. We are pleased to award Apollo with our Blue Ribbon Seal of Approval for a stable well rounded cost effective AGP solution for the average PC gamer / user. Congratulations Apollo!!!!
