Test Bench Journal First Entry Part Four 03/04/05
What we are going to do here is start to wrap up the bench including first coat of stain along with making any adjustments to the top that are needed. We are also going to attach the piano hinge to make the top operable for easy access to the components inside.. Please note that the stain looks kind of spotty but we expected that what happens is the glue prevents the stain from absorbing into the wood, what it does for us is shows where we need to do a little more sanding to make sure the second coat is consistent..
