Sharkoon Silent Eagle 2000 80mm Case Fan Page 3 Performance 10/08/05
Performance: Sharkoon has made it clear that the Silent Eagle 2000 is meant for mid rang RPM low noise heat dispersal case fan. Now I can assure you after running this fan for over two weeks strait the noise is almost nonexistent very low, in fact with a standard PSU you probably wont be able to hear the fan at all.. As for the actual RPM's this 80mm fan ranged from 2212 to 2280 max very stable.. The advantage of running a fan at low RPM's like this is easy the life of the fan is dictated by the average number of revolutions a fan will handle so this feature does two things. One keeps the fan a low noise rating and two increase the life expectancy over its competitors.. Overall we are very satisfied with the push the Sielent Eagle provides and I feel comfortable recommending this fan for anyone needing a case fan that wants it to be silent as well...
