Quality: Hmm quality is a bit tuff to measure with products like this and as long as it performs well then the only thing left to really look at is construction. Spire made a great product here the aluminum casing is very clean and will fit most requirements.. The only concern I can see is that the drive itself is not held into place but there is very very little movement and as long as the enclosure isn't used as a basketball or bounced around a bunch this shouldn't be to alarming. All in all the GigaPod III is a great little product well made and easy to use..

Little light on documentation. Conclusion: We have looked at a few other Spire products in the past and were always satisfied with the overall quality and performance. Spire has made a great enclosure this time we are very impressed with almost every facet of the GigaPod. This product will fit nice with anyone that needs a drive bay or a backup device. We are confident that the majority of consumers will be pleased with this product. We award Spire with our "Blue Ribbon Seal of Approval" for a versatile relatively inexpensive backup / external storage device..
